Making My Girls Happy

Okay guys. I told you a while back about Houston Rodeo concert tickets. I was excited about maybe getting to go to a real Texas rodeo, and even more excited about the concerts that follow each night. At the time I didn't know which artists would be performing, but now I can give you a few of the names. One of the performers will be Tim McGraw on March 8. I used to really like his music, but am disappointed that he hasn't released anything new in a while. I hope this means he is putting out some new material.

Another performer is Brad Paisley. He is set to perform March 11. I love this guy! His music always has a message, whether it's serious like in the song he sings with Allison Kraus, Whiskey Lullaby, or funny like Celebrity and Online. I have a few of his CD's, and would love to see him perform live.

But, if we do end up going, I know who my girls will want to see, and how can I say no? Do you want to venture a guess as to who it is?

That's right, The Jonas Brothers. They will be performing on Sunday, March 7. I guess it won't be so bad seeing them live. I mean, at least I know my girls will enjoy themselves. My son might not, but he will be happy just seeing the rodeo. My first and only experience with a rodeo was a great one, and I am really looking forward to going again. The tickets to the rodeo are pretty reasonable, but my daughter is trying to talk me into the meet and greet tickets for The Jo Bros. They are over $2500 each. Yeah, I don't see myself paying that much..

They better start saving up their birthday money if they want those tickets.
